Passenger Information

Day 1: Nairobi

Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta Airport. Met by our Safari Guide and be transferred to a Hotel for overnight. Bed and Breakfast will be provided

Day 2: Nairobi –Masai Mara

Pick up by our Driver Guide from the Hotel after breakfast, departure by road to Masai Mara. Arrive at Basecamp or similar – a small private tented camp beautifully located by the Talek River at the very edge of the savannah. Enjoy lunch in the open air restaurant, relax on your tent terrace, and prepare for a wildlife adventure! Afternoon game viewing drive in the Masai Mara game reserve. Look for lions, elephants and giraffes. Return to camp before sunset, sit by the campfire and listen to the night sounds of the savannah. Dinner & overnight Basecamp/Similar

Day 3: Masai Mara

Morning tea or coffee, depart for a half day game drive, choose a beautiful spot for your picnic breakfast, maybe by the hippo pools or under a tree. Return to camp in time for lunch. This afternoon you may also proceed for another game viewing drive. Back to the camp in the late evening.
Dinner & overnight Basecamp/Similar

Day 4: Masai Mara

Morning tea or coffee, depart for an early game viewing drive, watch the savannah waking up, and back in the camp for a full breakfast. Optional visit to a traditional Maasai village at an extra cost. Afternoon game drive, return to camp before sunset, dinner & overnight Basecamp/Similar

Day 5: Masai Mara-Serengeti

Early Breakfast and depart for Kenya Tanzania Border at Sirare and Pick up Tanzania sister operator and proceed towards the great Serengeti. Serengeti is ten times bigger than the Masai Mara game reserve; both are part of the same ecosystem and famous for the yearly wildebeest migration. Zebras, wildebeests and Thomson’s gazelles moving together through the seas of grass rank as the greatest wildlife spectacles on earth. Reach the lodge before sunset. Dinner & overnight Ikoma Serengeti Tented Camp

Day 6: Serengeti

Spend a full day in the Serengeti National Park with morning and afternoon game drives. Dinner & overnight Ikoma Serengeti Tented Camp

Day 7: Serengeti-Ngongoro Crater

Morning coffee or tea, early morning game drive in Serengeti. Breakfast at the lodge and depart for a visit at the Olduvai Gorge, known for the World’s earliest findings of modern man. Proceed to the Ngorongoro Crater – one of the biggest volcano craters in the world and is considered a wonder due to the abundant wildlife that is captured inside it. Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater

Breakfast and and go for a tour of the spectacular Ngorongoro crater with picnic lunches. Return to lodge late in the afternoon.

Day 9: Ngorongoro crater-Nairobi

Breakfast and transfer to Arusha to catch the afternoon Shuttle to Nairobi, alternatively extend the trip to climb Mount Kilimanjaro.

Payments: most lodges take US dollars, Kenyan or Tanzanian shillings or cards. For your own personal shopping good to have the local currency though

Radio communication for safety when in the bush walking and a stand-by car, first aid kit provided for

Personal equipment: good trekking shoes, a pair of shorts, long trousers and sweater for the evening, extra pair of socks, sun hat, sun lotion, sun glasses, binoculars, torch and a fleece sweater for chilly nights.
